Following the Supreme Court's recent Model Administrative Order in Foreclosure
Proceedings, the 1st Judicial Circuit recently signed new rules regulating
foreclosure procedures for owner-occupied single family residences which
will become effective April 1, 2010.

FLORIDA SUPREME COURT ISSUES ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER IN FORECLOSURE CASES
STATEWIDE: Due
to foreclosure case load statewide, the Florida Supreme Court has issued
an administrative order that unifies and mandates statewide procedures in
Foreclosure cases. Among other issues
addressed, the new administrative order addresses mediation requirements
and guidelines for appearances by Lender Reps and Lender Legal Counsel at
mediations. We have an active foreclosure practice in Okaloosa, Walton and
